Observations and stuff

ok so this is gonna be a hodge podge of stuff and i'm ok with that ... so saddle up - here we go.

a friend of mine said to me the other day that i struck him as the type of person that has 30 different bottle of stuff in the shower i assure you this was not intended in a bitchy way ( or if it was i refused to take it as such ... cause i like it when i come out looking good in the stories - this should not be new information ) ANYWAY ... so i'm in the shower this morning - and as i'm letting the conditioner do it's thing ( sidebar - i could write PAGES on the love of conditioner ... but anyway ) so i'm looking around and i counted 28 bottles in the shower. Now those of you who have been to my house know that my shower is one of those smallish glass showers with the seperate garden tub ... and yet between shampoo, conditioner, body scrubs, body oils, body wash, feet scrubbin' stuff, face wash, and shaving stuff .... 28 bottles.... keep in mind that doesn't include what's on the shelf that i'm not "using" at the moment, what's in the other bathrooms, or what's on the tub .... damn - that's a lot of stuff .....

oh and get this... ok we've established that i love the bath products ... i love hair products too ( it's the curse of the fat girl who can't lose a buttload of weight by tomorrow, but as God as my witness, my hair, nails, makeup, accessories, and clothes can be PERFECT daily ) anyway - i tend to be loyal to no one brand - but i am a bit of a snob - i won't use just anything ..... so this weekend i'm staying at a friends house and all she has is dandruff shampoo and suave products. I'm generally not a suave girl - ....but that may change soon. I used it and my hair was FANFUCKINGTASTIC .... so i bought some ( green apple, thank you very much ) later that night i got together with the quasi-new boy who could NOT stop talking about how good my hair smelled and how soft it was ..... AND I HAD SPENT A TOTAL OF $1.78 on the shampoo and conditioner ..... sheesh .... oh well - good to know .. i could have saved SO much money - cause trust me - Matrix is WAY more than 89 fucking cents!

ok what else - so i'm driving to work this morning - listening to the Dixie Chicks and singing along at the top of my lungs until i see something that stopped me you know those self-employed people who advertise on their own cars .... well evidently i was in traffic behind a personal trainer ( while i was eating a pop tart and making MMMMMMMM good noises just for spite ) when i saw the tag line "fitness results start when you do" ok - i can get with that .... here's the part that stopped me ... it was his web page addy

is it just me - or does that name scream porn????

just wondering ....

i considered writing about American Idol today - but i thought lots of people were going to do that - so i'm taking a pass....

ok and here's the last traffic report for the day - i was almost in town today and i noticed a car to my right - glanced over and i saw a dreamcatcher hanging off the rear view window.

those are for sleep.

driving is not for sleep.

case closed.

Okay, so you convinced me. I have been putting off trying the Suave. People keep telling me it's good and cheap but I never trusted them. However you, having 28 bottle in the shower, know of what you speak so I'm picking some up today.

One other thing, scary, bi-polar, Sybil, from American Idol will kill Simon soon. I bet she's stalking him right now.

dreamcatcher - car - hehehehe

I read somewhere that for people with skinny hair (and I know that you have 14 lbs of hair, this is going somewhere) should use a 2-in-1 shampoo. Me, my hair being the only skinny I own, tried this Dove stuff and it is the total bomb and fairly cheap too! After I used it someone asked me what I had done because my hair looked REALLY good. My point? Expensive may not always be better.
I've also heard that you should change shampoo's periodically because of the residue that builds up. I don't know about that....
Anyway, I'm rambling so, HI!

Yes, switching hair care products periodically is good....sometimes I can even tell if my hair is becoming immune to a particular brand. LOVE Suave brands!!! Probably save $2 a bottle to the "real" stuff.

American Idol...did you SEE the Camel Toe on that crazy Mary Roach person? If you're going to be on television, you should have a friend you trust who will tell you that you:
A. Cannot Sing
B. Have camel toe
C. Should not tell anyone what the voices in your head are saying.

I'm hooked on this new Pantene Brunette Expressions stuff right now in the shampoo dept.

Suave!?!? Who knew.... I spent $60 the other day for shampoo, conditioner, fixative and other assorted goo from Aveda. Suave? You're kidding right? I dare you to go count the # of bottles of stuff under you vanity that aren't in the shower, you'd probably keel over. I swear we're long lost sisters, your curse cracked me the fuck up. Right on girl!

I agree, you are supposed to switch shampoos every so often as your hair builds up and gets used to one kind. We use Suave, the lavender smells great, for a few days then go back to our expensive stuff. really makes a difference.

I spent an extra dollar on the Herbal Essenses because in the commercials all the women have orgasms. It makes showering more funner.

Quite often, there's barely room for people in my shower on account of all the bottles. I have at least 5 different shower sponges, not counting the loofah. I got a whole bunch of that kinda stuff for Christmas. I know that I'd have to throw bottles out if more than one person wanted to occupy my shower, but that almost never happens. Which is sorta okay with me, cause I like the hot water to myself--after I'm all showered, anyone who wants to help can put lotion on my back. Am I taking applications? Maybe so, maybe not.

Seven, I just call that thing a shower puff. I don't know if it has a more technical name. Boys pretend like they don't like those things on account of them being "girly," but we all know that they tickle in all the right places, now don't we? ;) ;)

...also, in my defense, I now live with TWO gay men, and some of the crap in the shower is not mine. (If you add ALL of ours together, Ally still has MORE. I've SEEN her shower!!!!) I will still take credit for having 5 shower puffs. Two of them have sponges inside of them and one smells like angel food cake. The other two are just plain.

I checked the Angel Food Cake shower puff, which is still in the package (if I use it, it's not gonna smell like Angel Food Cake anymore). It says on the label it's a "body polisher." Inquiring Sevens want to know.
